New visions old ideas

Good news
Leonard Cohen has a new Album  called "Old Ideas". Great listening from a great poet.

"You know it really is a pity  the way you treat me now;
I know you can't forgive me but forgive me  anyhow.
The ending got so ugly  I even heard you say
"You never ever loved me but could you love me anyway?"
Anyhow
 Only Leonard could say that.

I love to speak with Leonard
He's a sportsman and a shepherd
He's a lazy bastard Living in a suit

But he does say what I tell him
Even though it isn't welcome
He just doesn't have the freedom
To refuse

He will speak these words of wisdom
Like a sage, a man of vision
Though he knows he's really nothing
But the brief elaboration of a tube
Going Home

Love is?
Living on thin Ice This is an interesting website showing what people can do to respond to Climate change. It's real, and even though it's not happening in our back yards. It's happening!

Cricket
On a lighter note I went to the One day International Cricket game between India and Australia and took some panoramic images of the Adelaide Oval before construction changes the whole structure of the oval. What is odd to me is that previously structures stood for up to 100 years. Now they last ten, if that. Is that progress?

The old and the what was new, soon to be demolished!

So true but is he a vegetarian?
